The Power to Lead and Govern is an in-house and custom designed workshop for organizations who want to improve a manager’s ability to lead and to govern. Specifically, this workshop helps organizations to:

1. Surface and train innovative leaders to do better using new and best-practice leadership and good governance techniques.
2. Have participants create / update their personal development plan.
3. Establish best-practice good governance protocols that can be integrated within existing organizational policies.

This is not just a workshop on building good leadership, but an opportunity for organizations to also develop documentation that supports a transparent and inclusive style of organizational good-governance.

This 3-day workshop is custom-tailored to your organizational needs – to include the selection of a keynote speaker that exemplifies great leadership within your targeted community. For example, if your organization is focused on improving LBGTQ rights, we will help you acquire and prep a leader from the LBGTQ community to be your keynote speaker, and to help participants learn from this leader’s experience in the field.

Workshop Goals

The Power to Lead and Govern Workshop goals are simple; we want to provide participants with:

1. An orientation on leadership & innovation within the organizational context.
2. Practice on influencing others during their role as leader.
3. Examples of a great leadership, with a personal accounting of traits and behaviors needed to be successful (leadership by example).
4. Practical knowledge and skills regarding leadership and good governance, to include practice creating / updating the personal development plan.
5. A simple-to-use template for good governance guidelines and best-practice protocols, geared towards your organization’s mission.

The Power to Lead and Govern Workshop  is delivered in-house* or at a venue of your choosing. If your team is located in Kathmandu, Bangkok, London or Pretoria, we can even arrange the venue and help you with lodging bookings and other arrangements.

2. An optional Pre/Post test of participants with an analysis of improvement after the workshop concludes.
